So you have missed nothing. I have yet to be sent another profile to review. I contacted the agency and they are still waiting for some couples to finish up their questionnaires before they can send them to me.

A little set back!
So I have a little bit of bad news.
I was going to meet my potential intended parent this afternoon on +GoToMeeting . My meeting has been cancelled due to some legal issues involving the state of Nevada and birth certificates. Apparently in Nevada, one parent cannot be on the certificate and court orders are no longer allowed.
Because of this, I have been informed that I will only be able to carry for a straight couple to bypass any law issues. This is unfortunate only because we both got excited about the next step.
+Growing Generations | Los Angeles is looking for another profile for me to look over and we will start this part of the process over again. Hopefully by the end of the week, I will have a profile to review and will continue to keep everyone updated .

Accepted profile
I have great news! My profile has been accepted by my potential intended parent. The next step will be for us to meet in person and make sure we still like each other in person, not just on paper. His case manager will be contacting me to set up a meeting for us. This meeting will take place at the +Growing Generations | Los Angeles office. They will fly me there for a quick overnight trip.
I have overlooked mentioning my little one in my previous post. I have casually brought this up to her. Of course her first reaction was what are we going to name him and do I have to share my toys!! Typical kid answer. After laughing, I explained to her that I would be carrying a baby for somebody who couldn't have one but wanted one. I explained, in kid terms of course, that the baby wouldn't be ours, we wouldn't keep him or name him and her next response was..."Mom, that's so nice!!" Another typical kid answer. Knowing her the way I do, we all know she's smart, sweet and very mature for her years. I do not believe this will affect her in any negative way. If I thought it would, I would NEVER make this decision to be a surrogate.
Please be excited for me in this next step. Until something else happens...
